According to him, he appreciates the Prime Minister”s support both for the education system and his decision.
“I want to tell you that I have decided to resign as a minister. The reason for my decision is personal and I hope it will not be followed by political speculations. I had active consultations with the PM in this regard. I would like to thank him for being personally involved in the ongoing reforms”, – said Batiashvili.
He added that his future plans are to cooperate with international organizations, which will help implement educational projects.
“I plan to use my energy – this time, outside the system – in active cooperation with international organizations, to continue to implement important educational projects. I have been in this field for many years and remaining in this field”, – said former minister
